In-home Holistic Therapies & Rehab

Having a holistic approach to treating your pet means rather than alleviating the symptoms your pet is presenting, we look at the whole animal and work on a treatment plan that will not only resolve the symptoms but also help to address the root cause of their health issues.

I offer a range of natural and holistic services to help your pet on their path to longterm wellness.

Services

Homeopathy

Homeopathic remedies are derived from plant, animal, mineral and microbial sources. These remedies help the animal to react to disease, and produce its own anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and germ-killing agents.

Hydrotherapy

Hydro-treadmill therapy is suitable for dogs recovering from a variety of injuries and surgeries. The underwater treadmill allows dogs to walk while the buoyancy of the water greatly reduces loading placed on painful or healing structures. We can also use the buoyancy of the water to assist us when retraining gait in spinal injured patients.

Nutrition

Some of the most common problems I see in pets are from poor diet and nutrition. Nutrition plans aren’t just for overweight animals, I provide nutrition plans for all animals to help a range of ailments and for general health and wellbeing from puppy and kitten to older animals.

Naturopathy

Animal Naturopathy is an alternative form of healing using only natural, non-invasive, drug-free methods, to prevent and treat illness in animals. Western and Chinese herbal medicine has has its origins in ancient cultures. It involves the medicinal use of plants to treat disease and enhance general health and wellbeing.

Rehab & Pain Management

After injury, surgery or in managing conditions the rehabilitation process is extremely important. I can offer a variety of exercises, modalities and programs to suit you and your animals needs. Programs can be self-managed or done by me in the comfort of their home.

Cold Laser

Laser therapy is painless and non-invasive and can be used to treat all pathologies involving pain, inflammation, swelling, wounds and ulcers. Laser therapy helps to accelerate the healing process. A treatment cycle involves 2 to 10 sessions.
